Clearing photos 9

I remember this tram. The Returned Servicemens League kicked up a fuss about what looked like a Japanese flag on the side of the tram, and it was removed. Naturally out there gay men thought Mother Knows applied to them. Many of Melbourne's old W Class trams were painted by artists, including Michael Leunig and Mirka Mora.

  1. I would love to be able to paint a tram. I reckon the kids and I would be able to make some awesome design.. something like a scenery of Halls Gap at The Grampains comes to mind :)
